Tony Roma's - Edmonton

The server which was a Vietnamese lady was so very sweet and gave such great service!! She was attentive and really helped us with our food! First, I’m so happy that they serve Halal foods at this location!! It’s such a great choice to be able to have!! The ribs were delicious as usual! But the coleslaw has changed. Not as creamy or flavourful anymore. The onion loaf just as good as always!! The kids menu had an option of spaghetti… I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s quite dry and the sauce is too sour. Tastes mostly like tomato paste. I can appreciate a restaurant not over cooking your steak because the majority of restaurants usually do. This place didn’t. However, they undercooked it 2 times. Unfortunately the second time they gave us a steak that was mostly made of tendon and cartilage. Very chewy and still undercooked. The third time was better. But we are so grateful for our waitress as she was so understanding and helped us change it 2 times!! It’s just hard to pay for something that’s a little expensive and not be able to enjoy it. So she really made our meal so pleasant and wonderful!

WOW! about all I can say. And not in a good way. I paid $30 for a Cesar salad with chicken. $30. The salad was not large as they state and without the chicken it is still $19. No one should pay $30 for a chicken Cesar salad for lunch. I read on the menu $8 and figured add chicken would be maybe another $8. $16 is reasonable for what I received. Will never eat there again. Nice that you responded to my review asking to email you. But you have not responded to the email. Not a good way for business to be ran, especially such a customer relation business.

The wait time was close to an hour for our food. But our waitress kept coming up and making sure we were comfortable and gave us refills. Very sweet young woman. As soon as the owners came in she got nervous and told us she’s worried she might be fired. I gave her a very good tip as I saw she has children. The manager was ignorant, food was cold. I hope this place gets shut down like the others. The older waitresses were so rushy and I did not feel comfortable there.

There’s a reason why Tony Roma’s restaurants are depleting. I went here for a special occasion with my close friends expecting a quality dinner. Our waitress purposely perused around the tiny restaurant sorta ignoring us. It took over 20mins for them to take our order. And when I asked specific questions about the menu they had no idea what I was talking about made me look like I’m silly. The cutlery and glasses are disgusting, like 30 years old. I am very disappointed by their service and would strongly recommend you to stay away from here.

The manager and owner are THIEVES. We had gift cards to pay for our meal. We were told that the old owners are responsible for them currently refusing to return cards that still have balances. In Canada, gift cards cannot expire and must be treated like cash with cards with balances returned to customers. I an not talking a few dollars it was a substantial amount they were going to pocket. they were corporate gift cards. Tony Roma’s corporation took my money when I purchased the gift card with a promise in the future to honour the card for the value, if I didn’t spend the value then card returned for a future visit. Individual restaurants submit the card balances used for reimbursement from corporation. They would have pocketed my remaining balance (again a substantial balance). I wonder how many uninformed customers have been grifted by unscrupulous, dishonest, thieving management and owner at this location. Sadly many customers seem to be elderly. Shame on them
