The Denizen Hall - Edmonton

The service is excellent and they offer a variety of beers at great prices, especially during power hour. The food selection is decent and the live band is enjoyable on Friday and Saturday nights.

I finally had the chance to visit this place after it underwent renovations and became a pub some time ago.

I finally got to visit the renowned Denizen Hall! Some friends and I met up there on a Friday evening for drinks and food. The place seemed quite impressive.

Stopped by for dinner, pre-Bruno Mars. Décor is a very basic, rustic nightclub atmosphere. Hot wings were excellent, nice portion size (not too much) and had hoped to try Mama's Meatballs or Mama's Meatball Sub, however, unfortunately they were out. Opted for a Rueben sandwich (great fries, ok sandwich) instead. Service was attentive and excellent. Overall an ok bar meal, just wish they had more Edmonton and/or Alberta-made products and craft beer selection.

We stopped in here on our way to the Garth Brooks concert and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and the food was terrific! The manager stopped by at least 3 times to check on us and our waitress was great. The pub is literally a 5-minute walk to Roger's Arena so it was a the perfect place to grab a meal and drinks before the show. Especially since they had a $5/pint special on which is far superior to the ridiculous $12/beer they wanted at the arena! Highly recommend it!
