Swiss Chalet - Edmonton

Is a good place to go. Slow as usual. Does not even come close to the swiss Chalet that used to be next door.Parking: Construction going on next door so very limited to parking.

I recently visited Swiss Chalet at the Harvey's restaurant and ordered the festival special. Unfortunately, I had to wait in line for a long time and then wait in the parking waiting spot. My order did not come with the Swiss Chalet sauce for my French fries as it usually does. Additionally, they placed two ketchup pouches on top of the French fries, which had already been served outside the box with butter and cranapple sauce. I was concerned about potential contamination from the ketchup pouches that had been handled by unknown individuals. Despite ordering my drink, Dr Pepper with no ice, it arrived with ice. While I let that go, the absence of sauce for my fries was unacceptable. Every time I visit this restaurant, there is always something wrong or missing. I am left wondering what is wrong with this place!

What a wonderful place!Excellent staff and management!Drive Thru order taker was so pleasant and I could see thru the window how well my burger was garnished and so many smiles and manager came to ask personally how my order was and if I needed anything else today!I have not seen this kind of service in fast food! Way to go you guys! You made my day and I want everyone to know I love coming to Swiss ChaletThe management and staff here are professional and if they make mistakes they are open to correct them as anytime I have had a service or food issue they have always gone above and beyond.Great experience, keep it up you guys!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your restaurant located at 17004 107 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 1L8. During my visit, I ordered the Thanksgiving Feast and specifically requested dark meat, but was given white meat instead. When I brought this to the attention of the staff at the drive-thru window, I was met with unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from an employee and the manager. Despite showing that my order was incorrect, I was argued with and accused of lying about the contents of the box. The manager refused to issue a refund and even threatened to contact the police if I did not leave the property. I attempted to resolve the issue inside the restaurant, but the manager continued to be combative and unhelpful. As someone who has worked in customer service for 25 years and in the food industry for 10 years, I understand the importance of proper training and professionalism. The behavior displayed by your employees and manager was unacceptable and reflects poorly on your establishment. It is concerning to see that there are multiple complaints involving this specific manager and that the restaurant is rated only 3.8 stars on Google. I am requesting compensation for the poor experience I had and hope that the necessary steps will be taken to ensure that other guests do not encounter similar issues in the future. I visited this location in Drive Thru and what a delightful experience! From the order taker to garnisher and all the staff were so pleasant' wearing gloves and washing their hands qhich i voukd observe fron the very big transparent drive thru Window.I read a post about how some people are bad mouthing this location staff and manager and yet I was there and this erratic complainer fails to.mention how they called the staff racist names and yelled swesr words at the staff and the manager and parked in Drive thru for 20 minutes ofcoirse anyone would call the cops! So what do they expect?Would anyone put up with such abusive customers? In any food or fast food? Absolutely NOT. Do not be fooled by the previois abnoxius review!THIS LOCATION IS THE BEST SWISS CHALET PLACE TO ENJOY CHICKEN AND RIBS...great staff and management who are always pleadant to deal with and go out of their eay to help and serve you.Well done Swiss Chalet!
