A colourful exterior gives way to a narrow but judiciously organized interior that sings with the aromas of different spices. I was there close to closing time and all they had left was oxtail stew. The pieces of oxtail are still on the bone this requires some dental dexterity for nibbling, but the bones impart an impressive depth of flavour. The meat was tender, fragrant, and the rice and beans were generous and filling. I 've heard so much about their jerk chicken. Next time.
Great Patties. Recently back from the Cayman, and craving chicken patties. Found them here and boy where they delish. Can't wait to go back for the much-talked about jerk chicken!
My friends and I went here before a hockey game a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome. Just a small place where you order at the front and now many tables but the food was excellent. I ordered the Curried Goat and Jerk Chicken combo. The goat was great but the chicken was incredible. Not only the best Jerk Chicken I have had but some of the best chicken I have had period. Will go back next time I am in town for sure.
Guys that helped me were friendly and very helpful. Food was extremely tasty. Portions very very small for almost $20 worth of food.Would return. Hope they increase portion size for pricing though. Our regular $20/each person restaurant meals usually 35% more food.
I had the Ox-Tail. Delicious food, excellently spiced, and service was great. On the other hand, it's difficult to justify the prices for the amount of meat provided. I would go back, but only when I NEED a Caribbean fix.
