Residency - Edmonton

The Open Table, Residency, and Lyon restaurant fell short on this occasion. Regrettably, the restaurant was not actually open, which was disappointing. It appears that the websites were not kept current, resulting in not only our party but other couples wasting time and gas to visit a location that was not real.

We went to Residency to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is located in a prime location in Packrat/Lyon and has only been open for 2 weeks. The food was amazing. Our server recommended the specialty sourced flour pizza options, but we chose the Charcoal chicken and shrimp as our main dishes instead. We also shared fries and charred veggies, which were all fantastic. I would go back just for the veggies! We had a bottle of wine at a great value with our meal. Although not as busy as other more established restaurants in the area, our server was friendly and attentive, taking pride in the offerings at Residency. I have a feeling it will be more bustling when we come back next time!

The team, led by Chef Blaine, went out of their way to ensure our special celebration was unforgettable. Despite the small menu selection, each dish was outstanding and distinctive. We will absolutely return for another meal!

Lyon is basically an updated version of Packrat Louie. I really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and the server was happy to put the bacon on the side. The smoked salmon was as delicious as usual! My friend enjoyed her rabbit.

Beautiful room and great servers with care and attention to detail. Thanks from my family and friends. Wine was great and advice on the type was much appreciated from my wife.
