Contribuiți la feedbackI really wanted to be mad because I used Skip The Dishes and the burrito sauce leaked all over, there was less than a tablespoon of beans given as my "side of beans", less than a 1/3 of a container was given for sour cream and the curdito had jalepenos in it. But guys, I can't be mad because every single bite was better than the last. You don't really get quantity here, but man do you get quality. The pupusas were to die for. The half a tablespoon of beans I got were the best beans I've ever had. ABSOLUTELY will be ordering again and just sucking it up and paying for a second side. Still
My wife and I managed to find this gem of a restaurant as we were looking at skip the dishes. We were so glad we decided to go and dine there. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. The establishment is extremely clean and well kept. We started with the guacamole and chips. As well the owner brought out 3 different salas for us to try, which had great flavor. I had the camarones (shrimp) which was a bit spicy and the flavor was one that you couldn't get enough of. I also asked for their very hot habanero salsa which went well with the dish. My wife had the pupusas which we both thought were amazing. All the food was prepared fresh and was delicious. We are looking forward to returning and would highly recommend this if you like authentic Mexican/El Salvadorian food.
Arrived at 5:00 PM on a Friday to beat the rush. Turns out they were preparing for an evening of fund raising for Amnesty International. Band was practising on the other side. Our favorite dish was the pupusas. Awesome! The tacos weresmall but tasty and the fahitas were delicious. Service was excellent!
Went here on Father's Day, having read some really good reviews. It is in an interesting area -- more where you'd expect to find another Vietnamese restaurant, but there it is! Free parking available depending on how busy things are. It wasn't very busy but the waiter made us feel very welcome and gave us a few ideas. It did take a while to get a glass of water, that was my only complaint. We started with the guacamole dip and fresh made tortilla chips. It was very tasty and just the right blend of flavours. For the meal we had a variety of entrees -- tacos, burrito, rancho plate and diablo shrimp. Each meal brought a smile to each person's face and comments all around were that it was delicious and two of our party said it was the best Mexican food they'd ever had in Edmonton. The rice was delicious and nicely presented. They ran out of flan, which was disappointing as that is what we were looking forward to. Instead we had frozen fruit slushes. Overall, we enjoyed the evening and will go back again.
Food was outstanding and the owner was quality control and checked to make sure everything was of high quality. A bit of a tougher part of town but well worth the tripto check out the menu!
