Formosa Bistro - Edmonton

Incredible food and very attentive service. we have heard from this restaurant of a review on cbc and I am so glad that we shot it. everything was delicious. try the popcorn huhn, sweet potatoes (in the did made with sweet potato instead of yams), and the braided pork bells over rice. try something. it was all amazing. try it and love it! we cannot expect to go back.

It was my first time to eat in formosa and we will return. the service friendly and dedicated and the food was fresh, creatiw and tasty. we had the popcorn chicken, boiled vegetables (gai lain with a heart-sweet sauce with pigs,) marinated pork belly, and bark. I can't choose a favorite. love and care in eating.

Good food and lovely staff. We had a variety of food I recommend the braised pork rice bowl and the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The chicken has a distinctive clove/cinnamony, sweet and savoury flavour. Great prices as well.

Our waitress was very attentive. She explained things on the menu and made great recommendations. Food was delicious. Great experience.

Great Taiwanese food! It’s nice to finally have a great one in Edmonton. Service was wonderful and knowledgeable about menu. Their Popcorn chicken and Sweet potatoe (not yam! fries really DO taste like donuts! You have to try them! Steamed fish was delicious and rice side dish was accompanied by other little side dishes which was a nice surprise.
