Emperor's Palace Chinese Cuisine

I decided to order dim sum from the menu rather than waiting for them to come around on carts. It was my first time dining at this venue and I wanted to try a variety of dishes, so I ordered about 10 items, including some popular choices and a few of my personal favorites. The total bill came out to $150 after tax, and I ended up taking home the leftovers. The dim sum tasted authentic Cantonese, and the staff were very busy attending to the many tables. The restroom was small compared to the size of the restaurant.

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant for dim sum. While we have our usual favorites that we order from the menu, we also like trying new dishes that are brought around on the cart. My top pick is the deep fried taro root dumpling, with its flaky outer layer, which became a favorite as soon as we tried it. We make sure to order it during each visit.

The dim sum at this restaurant is good. While some dishes may not always be perfect, we have had a consistently good experience recently, so I would give them a 4 out of 5 rating. It can feel a bit awkward being younger here, as it seems like the staff are not as comfortable interacting with young people. However, the feeling goes both ways. There is underground parking available behind the building, and you can access the back of the restaurant via the stairs. The interior has a bit of a spooky vibe, but parking in the exterior area can be challenging if street parking is full.

I walked in to make a take out order. The waiter went for a menu and spoke in his language to a coworker, obviously insulting me from the way she looked at me and laughed. I'll never eat here again. They have good food but everything else is severely lacking, especially manners. I am a cancer survivor and I am very thin. I haven't felt so insulted.

Love dim sum here, never disappoints. Dumplings are big and always fresh and yummy. Food comes out super fast so that part is good, but some of the regular servers are grouchy ladies. I'm afraid to ask for hot sauce so at this point I just take my own hot sauce lol
