Blanco Cantina South Common - Edmonton

I really enjoyed the food and the service, but the loud music was overwhelming, making it difficult to hear my conversation with my friends.

I went out for a girls' night during happy hour on Taco Tuesday, and I had a fantastic time! The value was excellent, and after enjoying three margaritas, I left feeling happy and full. The only downside was that I had to flag down the waitress a couple of times for a margarita refill, but it was getting pretty busy. Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience. The waitress was super friendly. My favorite dish is the Baja shrimp taco, and I discovered a new margarita flavor that I absolutely love—the spicy raspberry! I also enjoyed my usual choice, the smoky pineapple. So delicious! I’d give it a 4 out of 5.

A great place to eat. Good food, ample servings with thoughtful service willing to accommodate allergies. Background music added atmosphere but a little loud for conversation especially at the start of the evening.

The food was very good, but over all the menu was really simple and didn’t leave much room for unique or interesting dishes. The restaurant and staff are nice and it was an overall great experience. I’d recommend for any casual Mexican food cravings, but maybe not if you have a certain traditional dish you’re after as it will likely not be on the menu.
