Shanghai Noodle House - Edison

This is a small family owned and run Shanghai restaurant. The food is always excellent, the prices are good, and the portions are adequate. My wife and I have been eating there once a week for over ten years and have tried many of the options on the large menu. We have never come across anything that we did not like.

This restaurant is not just for noodles. Many great and delicious food options are available for order.

If I could… I would give it zero stars. I used to frequent this place a lot pre covid when the food used to be hot, fresh, and delicious. The most recent time that I went, I was met with a very rude boss. The service was terrible. The food was also mediocre and cold. Some items that we ordered were made from items you can buy in the frozen section of Asian grocery stores, so you might as well buy them yourself and make it at home for a fraction of the price. So they are basically charging extra for heating up frozen foods. Also beware that they only except cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Will not be coming back here.

There was a bug in our food. Absolutely disgusting. Will not go back.
