Fantastic place to get rid of my birthday weekend! I visited this restaurant 3 times before, always had a great experience and this time was no different. my party of 6 ate, laughed and had a good time in the comfort of this place. perfect customer service from diondra (guyana!) she was on time and on every wish we had. we ordered the delicious scarlet bites, wings, ochsen, curry huhn / garnelen, roti, soak galore, etc! everything was great! my gf’s were impressed and I am looking forward to the rework!

Food taste so much better than the pictures showed! Cant wait to go back. Drinks were just right! Made for a great date night

This review was written 7/19/2019 and never posted. Well well well, I'm officially embarrassed! I actually work out here in Harford County 2 to 3 times weekly, had this place bookmarked, read the wonderful Yelp reviews and I'm just visiting 2 years later! When I tell you this place was awesome, this place was awesome. Let me start at the beginning... I called in my order after reviewing the menu online and thank you Yelpers for posting the menu online. I chose the Curried Chicken Wings and the Chicken Soup. I've been feeling a little under the weather and I figured... Hey some homemade chicken soup would fair me well right, better! When I called the young lady that answered the phone was so kind and once I walked in restaurant, I was greeted with the same kindness by Justis. While I waited for my food, I was able to ask questions regarding other menu items as well as look at the beautiful décor throughout establishment. This restaurant was so clean and well laid out! When Justis packed my bag up she asked me if I needed a fork for my wings I said no, I'm driving so just napkins. In true Yelp fashion, as soon as I got in the car, I opened up the wings take a picture and had no choice but taste 1... those wings were so flavorful and I ended up eating 3 wings that fork I previously declined after all. Next, I tried by soup! O the soup! So good! Returned 7/15/2020 more than worthy of another review. During current COVID19 times, all safety percussions have been taken there's a welcoming outdoor set up while using social distancing. We were assisted by Di'Andra T who demonstrated perfect attitude, professionalism, order accuracy. We ordered the Jerk Chicken, Braised Oxtails Rasta Pasta. Everything was cooked up perfection. Well seasoned, perfect temp and a lot of yumminess. For beverages we ordered the Caribbean Sangria and Bob Marley!! So well crafted and smooth. We enjoyed nursing our beverages throughout our meal. TOTAL PERFECTION!! A must try !!

We’re probably addicted to this place! Hands-down the best dining in Harford County! Island Spice is better than any Caribbean restaurant in America that I’ve been to. I’m not exaggerating. That includes restaurants in Atlanta, New York and Miami. Trust me. My mother is from Trinidad and when I don’t feel like cooking, I come here! Their cuisine is impeccable! I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. From the food to the drinks. Not to mention the staff is amazing and the live music on certain nights is a perfect touch. You won’t find many fine dining establishments that check every box but the fact that the food is delicious takes it to another level. We will always come back.
