Bianco Blu - Edgewater

Strange location, no signage so difficult to find. The food was good however the entire experience from the moment we arrived until we left was awful. I had a reservation but we were only taken to our table 45 minutes later and told the kitchen closes in an hour. They never brought menus to us. We had to get them ourselves after waiting 5 minutes for someone to greet us at the table. One waiter was running around like Speedy Gonzalez. We ordered 2 desserts and only received 1. They brought coffee after 30 minutes of bringing dessert. Once we paid, the waiter asked us if we wanted dessert (again). They weren’t at all busy and the menu isn’t complicated so not sure why they are so rude and disorganised. Never again. Too bad though because like I said before, the food was good.

Bianco Blu has always been delicious, but they upgraded immensely!! There is new service for sure, the quality was genuine and very attentive. The restaurant continuous upgrades are starting to show. This was now my fourth time there since pandemic hit, and let me say, it will not be my last. Their cocktails are unique and the perfect pour if you know what I mean ; . The main dining area is beautiful, now they even offer a private room! At first it was a little hard to find where to park but its actually in the same lot as Metropolitan they have signs to tell you which spots are for the restaurant. I wish this place continuous luck, they are a hidden gem stone in Edgewater.

I arrived 5 minutes earlier, My reservation was for 8:45pm. The hostess explained I will have to wait due to no seats. I waited 30 minutes and still nothing. I approach the hostess again and finally was seated 9:45pm. Time goes by and no waiter approaches our table. I could see other guess upset. My husband had to get up and stop a waiter to service us. At 10:30 we finally order our food. After tons of guess walking out of the restaurant. We were able to get our food out by 11pm. We ate fast so we can make it home for New Year’s Eve ball drop. Probably the worst experience me and my family ever had. We were told the chef walked out, the hostess walked out and they were running out of food. This place used definitely close down.
