Li Garden - EASTERN PASSAGE

The restaurant offers delicious food at affordable prices, with exceptionally clean bathrooms. The interior is simple yet tidy, and the service is excellent. All dishes are served hot, and utensils are spotless. It's a great spot for North American-style Chinese cuisine, with ample seating for large groups. Perfect for a staff party!

We recently tried Li Garden in Eastern Passage for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. Most of us chose dishes from the numbered menu and were served generous portions of delicious, piping hot food. The chicken balls were particularly noteworthy, made with large pieces of white meat. My adventurous granddaughter opted for the 'Wonton Soup' and found it to be delicious, with enough meat to serve as a full meal. We were all impressed by the quality of the food, the tasteful decor, and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Next time, I plan to explore beyond the numbered menu and try something new. It's funny how I had overlooked this neighborhood gem for so long, considering it's just a few minutes away from home.

I was a bit hesitant to try this place out since the previous restaurant in this location was pretty sketchy, but I decided to give their lunch menu a try, sticking with the Wonton soup, a safe bet I figured. The soupd was served quickly, in a good sized bowl, not too little but not a bucket either. A good serving of meat and wontons in a slightly spicy broth that cleared the sinus but didn't have me reaching for water every 5 seconds.I came back with the whole family this time ordering rice and more soup, yes it was that good. My husband had the chicken balls, some of the largest I've seen in the city! They were filled with white meat, not a ton of batter. The menu has the standard Chinese reaturant fare, nothing extraordinary.Everything was served hot and quickly even though the second time we came in the place was really busy.I would come back the next time I want Chinese.

The upscale design of this restaurant perfectly combines with the welcoming feel of a modern Welsh pub. The atmosphere is friendly and the wings are amazing.
