Brew Krew Kitchen Bath - East Tawas

This is a lovely establishment. It's clean and well-organized, featuring unique items that you won’t find elsewhere. They have a great selection of wine and home decor. The coffee is excellent as well.

This is the second time we have tried to go to this store and each time the owners husband has given me more than enough reasons not to return. Huff and puffing around the store and talking down to my wife and I. I am not sure what the malfunction is. They have nice things I want to buy. I can't seem to get him to shut his condescending mouth long enough to take my money. We come here once a year on vacation and this seems to be the only place in town trying to refrain from doing business. Maybe they have an amazing local following who loves to be told what they are wrong. Last year the owners husband yelled at us for asking about a restroom and this year he snapped at my wife for smelling a beard balm. When I mentioned something to one of the other workers she apologized over and over for his behavior. Not her job. While I do appreciate her efforts it did seem a bit pre-rehearsed. Almost as if she has done this many times before. Please don't take my word for it. Feel free to go ask him for help so you can be looked down on and treated like a mere peasant in his kingdom of stuff people want but nobody needs.

My favorite store to visit in Tawas. Great kitchen items, wine selection, and coffee!

Cute store with cute things, but the only thing worse than their version of an iced cappuccino is the extremely rude service most of the people who work there could be fantastic, so it 's too bad that this unhappy woman is giving their store a bad reputation. We went in, on a weekday, and were looking for a cold caffeinated beverage to grab for the ride home. They claim to have coffee and espresso drinks, so we ordered. Here 's how the conversation went: Can I help you? Yes, could I get an iced cappuccino, please? At this point the lady abruptly turned around, in a huff, and scooped two big heaps of some weird powder into a blender. I asked if the drink had espresso in it, and she said no in rude tone. She said There 's no coffee in them at all. The fact that the coffee drinks are made with sugary, chemical mystery powder is one thing, but the fact that the employee was SO curt and rude, was the main point of annoyance. My 3 girlfriends and I said, thanks, but no thanks. On the way out, one of my girlfriends mentioned that we thought the service was quite rude, but there was zero reply or apology. None of us will ever be back, for anything! We are all in East Tawas every weekend, but will visit the Tea House or The Village Chocolatier for our coffee drinks.

Don 't let the name fool ya. Not a real big brew selection. One tiny closet sized room with some specialty beers. This place has a lot of nick nacks but I 'm not a nick nack kind of dude.
