Shakespeare Inn

Visited with a group of friends on Sunday for Christmas dinner. Food and service were fabulous. There were eight of us in total and all the main meals arrived together piping hot. The turkey was cooked to perfection as were all the trimmings and veggies. I had the Belgian Chocolate truffle for dessert which was divine! Thanks to Kate, Graham and all The Shakey Crew. The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance and the staff are exceptional. The food is truly exceptional and could easily be compared to a Michelin-starred establishment. It is a wonderful addition to our local area.

Absolutely outstanding food...tried different meals all to exceptionally high standards.... plenty for you're money, very filling, friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced considering how much you get... This is definitely my favourite pub in this area by far.....will always be back.

I have been coming to this charming pub as my local for more than a year now. My sister, niece, and I stopped by today for a meal and had a fantastic experience - the food was delicious. The beer garden is lovely and we always enjoy stopping here during our walks. The staff is very friendly and we always have engaging conversations during our visits. I am planning to go back tomorrow with my husband and some friends for lunch. I highly recommend this place for a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We come to Shakey most weekends and can honestly say it never disappoints, the food and the staff are amazing and we are so lucky to have such a fab local on our doorstep! We would highly recommend this pub to everyone
