First time for breakfast had a lite bite in the garden service was wonderful served by Glenda truly delicious you must try it and great value for money.

Nice surroundings but goats cheese salad left a lot to be desired! Salad leaves were inedible and smallest amount of crumbled goats cheese. Was told salad was fresh that day but it was turning black. Didn't want to eat it in case it made me ill. No offer of reduction when I paid the bill. Definitely a meal to avoid!

I have been to the water mill many times now for breakfast and lunch. There is normally always quite a wait for food and drinks but when we have had our food it’s always been enjoyable. This time we were told there would be a 40min wait on food which we said was fine. After an hour of waiting and trying to entertain our little one I decided to ask if we could have our food to go and my 1 year old had started getting impatient and restless. We were then told our food wasn’t even cooking as our order hadn’t even been put through. We were very disappointed as at this point we were hungry. The staff were apologetic and said they would just charge us for our drinks. Overall so disappointed with the situation and unfortunately it has put us off going again.

The food isn't too bad, but the service was poor. We'll give it another go as it's such a pretty venue we've been going for years over several ownerships it was a bit disappointing this time although it could easily be better next. More, experienced, waiting staff would do it.

The new management and staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly, and the menu offers a wide selection of options. I highly recommend stopping by for lunch, dessert, or a delicious Italian dinner.
