The staff at this restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and I will definitely be returning. Price per person ranges from £20–30. I give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5. I highly recommend the Apple Crumble, Chips, and Steak and Ale Pie with Vegetables.

Seemed surprisingly quiet when we got there for a Sunday lunch time. By the time we left we knew why. In general I think we enjoyed our starters. (There were 16 of us) The mains were very disappointing. The plates for a cold and a beef was tough and overdone. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Went there for a few drinks whilst working and steam and country show up the road and the young lady behind the bar was really welcoming and a great edition to the pub
