Carnitas Way - East Mesa

Fantastic food and wonderful service! The staff was extremely attentive throughout the evening. The meals were delicious. Hats off to everyone!

The service began a bit chaotically. We were greeted quickly, but then our server seemed to vanish. It turned out they were unprepared for the large crowd at this new location and had to call in the owner for assistance. Luckily, he ended up serving us, and once things were sorted out, the service became excellent. However, even that paled in comparison to the outstanding food we experienced. This isn't your typical bland Tex-Mex burrito drenched in red sauce; the dishes were unique and delightful. We kicked things off with Elotes and Huitlacoche Quesadillas, which were fantastic. Although billed as appetizers, we also ordered Rellenos and Tamales. We could have easily stopped with the appetizers, as they were hearty and delicious, but we pressed on to our main course and were thoroughly satisfied. We also had a lovely chat with the owner, who served us, and truly enjoyed the entire experience. I highly recommend Los Sombreros in Mesa, and we will definitely be back!

I ordered the Laguna Burrito and it exceeded my expectations. This restaurant truly lives up to its reputation; the carnitas were both flavorful and juicy. I arrived just before closing time, but the staff greeted me with a friendly smile. This was my first visit, and I can say for sure it won't be my last!

Lolo was our server and was fantastic. I do t remember what the dish I got was called but my buddy and I ordered each of his recommendations and they were delicious!!!
