She simply shrugged and said "sí." So, we’re going with Spanish—I ordered number eight and a water, please. She told me the total in Spanish, but I couldn't catch it because of her mask, so I looked at the register to find out. It was $12, which I paid, and I also slipped a little something into the plastic cup for her. She didn't seem to mind one way or the other. After using the restroom, my food was ready when I got back. 7 Mares never disappoints when it comes to the food, though the vibe might be hit or miss. She called me "joven," which I found endearing, considering I have at least a decade on her. Maybe that was just her way of showing appreciation for my business and the tip. These are interesting times we’re living in. The bottom line is, whenever you spot a 7 Mares on your travels, make sure to stop by and check it out.
Have you tried their oysters? You can get a box of 100 oysters for $95.
Everything here is fantastic, so you can't make a bad choice with any of your orders! We visit primarily for the fish ceviche, but we also enjoy the shrimp ceviche and the aguaschiles—they're great too!

I was very pleased with the shrimp cocktails we ordered. It seems to be our every other sunday after church meal.
