Quaker Diner - East Hartford

Established in the 1930s and beautifully restored in the 1980s, this place has a charming old-school diner vibe that I absolutely love. The food was served quickly and was delicious; I enjoyed the steak and eggs. The only downside was the server—she didn’t seem very friendly and was eating at the bar while attending to our table. I'm not sure if that’s part of the ambiance or just a coincidence. Despite that, I would definitely return.

Outstanding Breakfast! I dined here years ago when my sister lived nearby and had a fantastic experience then. This morning, I returned and it was just as delightful as I remembered. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. I just wish I didn't have to travel all the way to Connecticut to enjoy it! The blackberry pancakes are amazing!!!

This is exactly what a diner should be. Our group of four had breakfast, and everyone loved their meals and the ambiance. The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was outstanding. Service was impressively quick, and the prices were quite reasonable. We only waited a few minutes for a table on Sunday. We will definitely return!

Quaint 17 counter, 6x4 booth diner. Hoping joint and old school atmosphere. Don't ask the waitress how she is doing as she is wicked busy. Food is made by a machine dressed as a human. Will come back.

First time here try the omelette with toast I've tried the omelettes at several other diners in the area but this was by far the best omelette the staff are amazing and friendly
