Loco Perro - East Hampton

Maybe a good place for drinks and wings its quite expensive, but do not recommend to eat here. The food is not good. Trying a variety of things very greasy no taste. The only thing that was decent was the wings. It's probably a Mexican restaurant that's not. They also charge you for chips and salsa. The staff is very nice and friendly I had no bad experience, it's just the food is not good. My stomach was upset for the rest of the day.

We sat outside and the waiter was very professional. I recommend this facility for anyone who loves authentic Mexican dishes. The portions are excellent for subsequent residues. The homemade salsa was a treat. I went twice, and that's on my list for return.

It is unbelievable how this restaurant has over 4 stars in reviews. We ordered the chips and salsa, beef taco, beef Burrito and bbq pig snake. The chips were unsalted, the salsa tasted like pure onions, the beef in the taco and burrito were extremely dry and tasteless we had to add sour cream, so the food would slip down our throats, the burrito was filled with zucchini and onions, which seemed like a cheap way to fill a burrito, all the food was tasteless, except the bbes pork. The sour cream was the only paleable product on our table. I see now that other reviewers declare that the food was tasteless and the owner reacted that they did not season food unless it is asked. I think the owner is confused about the meaning of spices against spices. If you go to eat that is completely tasteless, it should be provided a disclaimer on the menu, and by the waiter. We are all about supporting the local business, but the business should be more respectful and supportive of its customers.

We discovered Loco Perro during the pandemic. After years of driving, we finally tried and really loved it. The food is not too spicy. There are outdoor restaurants as well as pickup to go. We usually get a family combo and there are many leftovers for lunch the next day.

I've eaten here twice and gotten take out once. Reviewing the takeout is easy because it is purely based on the food, even with consideration given for the length of time from the kitchen to my mouth. The food is ok to decent. It's the two times I've been eaten in person at this restaurant that have prompted me to leave a review. Both times have left me confused and wondering if both times I coincidentally ate there on a night when half the wait staff or half the kitchen called out sick. Each experience was plagued with issues including 30 min waits for waters or chip condiments, mixed up orders, not hot food (not exactly cold), lengthy waits for food, lengthy waits for bills, and lengthy waits for receipts. Even asking for my bill when I received my food and handing them my card when I received my bill still cost me 50 minutes to leave. A simple thing like asking for another drink didn't work my request went into the void. Like I discussed in the takeout, the food is alright. But certainly not good enough to make it worthwhile to go back. The servers are super nice and I got the impression they were doing the best with what they had, looking frazzled and scurrying everywhere. Perhaps management can invest in more staff? I had food comped for me without asking for it so I know they know there is an issue. For the sake of the servers I gave this review one more star. I always hesitate to leave negative reviews because I want all of these businesses to thrive. I'm leaving this one in hopes of some owner introspection.
