Khan Curry Hut - East Geelong

Food was good, came out quite quickly, once our order was eventually taken. Then it took ages for the plates to be cleared away, then ages again for somebody to bring us a menu to order either desserts or coffee. I don't think you'd believe me if I told you they had no coffee... but, sadly true. So instead we had cold hot chocolates... The food was good, the ambience was nice, but sadly, service was a bit disappointing.

The butter chicken was amazing! Chicken meted in your mouth. Great portion sizes and the owner is very friendly. Will definitely be going back.

The food here is good, the prices are excellent, the menu is large on variety, they have a lunch special. The environment is very good, modern and the service is also very goodl=.

I heard that Khan's Curry Hut employed a new chef so i decided to try the food..I ordered mushroom mutter with laccha paratha. These two items for only $13.50.Food was amazing and exceeded my expectations!Plenty of mushrooms in the dish and flavour was just right. Laccha paratha was cooked well - golden brown, crispy and delicious. Definitely go visit Rahul the knowledgable new chef and Sujeet the lovely waiter.

The Khan Curry Hut was fairly busy on a Wednesday night and having been to a few Indian restaurants in Geelong we hoped that this meant the food would be good. It was ok... The service was friendly, the prices and range excellent, the atmosphere industrial and sterile - it certainly didn't resemble a hut!!! But back to the food - the samosas were quite small, but tasty and fresh. The coconut rice wasn't very coconutty which was disappointing, the chicken Korma melt in the mouth, the lamb Korma a bit dry and chewy. The garlic naan ok. Overall for price and quantity this is great value but not the best Indian restaurant in Geelong.
