Contribuiți la feedbackWe requested the afternoon tea and had confirmed this via an Instragram post. I booked via Open Table which gave no option text box to request afternoon tea. We arrived at 1pm and were advised it would take a little while to prepare. We received the afternoon tea at 2.40 pm and it was for 2 people and there were 3 of us! We had the afternoon tea free in the end. Didn't rate the afternoon tea, some cakes were stale and no fresh scones but as we were hungry, we ordered some hot food, which was rather nice. The service was appalling to keep us waiting so long without any update, despite us requesting one and being told it was because we hadn't specified an afternoon tea when we had!
I celebrated by birthday in Leila’s with a groups of 10 people. Bookingorocess was smooth and we did get the separate area which was a nice touch. Food was good, wouldn’t say exceptional, tagine was worth trying for sure. Service however was below average: visibly untrained and scared looking waiter, at times I wasn’t sure I was understood at all, repeatedly asking to clear used plates and clean the table, chase for drinks etc The most unpleasant point though was the music. It was so loud, to the point where we couldn’t hear each other whilst being sat less than half a meter away. Asked repeatedly to turn it down, but it kept on coming back on every time. Point to note: entire area was taken by 3 birthday parties which did not look like groups who were after loud music. No one danced but instead tried to have a chat with friends. So there was no place or time for music blasting. Lights went on at 11 signaling us to leave. Overall, it was just about ok but won’t be coming back.
Food was not great, the chicken was dry maybe I was unlucky this time.
Delicious food. Nice people Great service Reasonably priced too
The guys who served us were nice and the food was totally what I have been looking for when I chose Leila. I am sure I will come back for the lamb tagine with cous cous.
