Waffle House - Durham

It was around 11 o'clock when we decided to stop and eat at a restaurant after driving for a few hours. When we arrived, the employees seemed preoccupied with each other and appeared to be looking out for something. We noticed that there were barriers in place to prevent people from sitting at certain tables, but there were no signs or explanations as to why. The workers seemed distracted, possibly by a commotion outside, and didn't pay much attention to us or our needs. They briefly glanced at us before returning their focus to the street outside. Eventually, we decided to leave due to the lack of attention and service.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The warm welcome and delicious food are a perfect pairing.

This review is about the customer service at the restaurant. The food is usually good on a normal day, but unfortunately, today was a series of unfortunate events. The chef cooked my eggs before the bacon, even though I specifically asked for the protein to come first. Not to mention, I had to wait about 40 minutes for my meal. The manager apologized and offered to refund my money, saying that the meal was on the house.

Waffle House is Waffle House, but the workers are what make each location great or bad. This location at times, has some of the most efficient and nicest staff around. Especially new super Caela, always gives great customer service!

This is by far one of the best locations I've ever been too. Customer service was amazing. Super cleanest location and the food was cook to perfection!! Will have to stop by again on my next road trip. Thanks again ladies.
