The Melting Pot - Durham

It was an amusing experience—if you're interested and don’t mind splurging on an expensive meal, it’s worth a try. The menu seems tailored for a romantic date night for two, but we managed well with a party of six, although we did run low on cheese for the appetizers. Speaking of appetizers, some of the chips were stale, but the other components were quite good. The salads were tasty, and the duck was more enjoyable, though some of the sauces really stood out. The highlight was definitely the chocolate fondue dessert, which is worth it just for the banana and chocolate sauce combination. Overall, it wasn’t the worst experience, and the novelty was nice, but I believe you can find better food for a similar or lower price elsewhere.

If they can afford an overpriced interesting experience, do it. if they want to eat delicious good, do it. People are friendly, salat tastes fine, not enough cheese fondue, chips are stale, entree pot missing aromen, decent chocolate fondue gloom. for 60-70 per person price, they can find much better food elsewhere.

Such amazing food! The staff is always phenomenal the bartender really knows what he's doing and the experience is astonishing! We love this restaurant for special dates.

We had an incredible time! eating was fantastic and it was such a cool experience. in online reservations we found that it was our jubilee. they brought us back where a small pod with a curtain was for the private sphere. it was so sweet and romantic. the only thing we had a problem was the escape. we chose the cast iron grill for our cooking style, but that was probably user mistake. overall had a great experience and can not wait to do it again!

This restaurant is definitely overpriced, especially for vegetarians. However, the dessert was outstanding—particularly the banana dessert, which was delicious. My friends and I had a fantastic time during our first visit. Our server, Chris, was excellent and deserves an extra star, making this a four-star experience overall.
