Sweet Charlie's - Durham

This restaurant is a fun spot to enjoy delicious desserts. It was enjoyable to create my own unique flavor combination. A delightful experience!

I took the kids to Sweet Charlies and they had a great time watching the ice cream roll process - it was a bit slow but definitely worth it. I ordered the So Cal with bananas, coconut, honey, and blueberries. The kids got the Tod of Chocolate with a brownie and chocolate drink. There was a guy overseeing everything, and it looked like two new employees were being trained. Big shoutout to the guy in charge, he was constantly moving up and down the line helping out and fixing things. Great customer service!

This is my favorite ice cream shop. I have had wonderful experiences here. The only issue is that after driving 40 minutes to get there, I found out that they are closed until February 16th. I checked online before going and it had said they were open. I am frustrated that there were no updates stating they would be closed until the 16th. Additionally, this is the only place in my area that sells this specific type of ice cream.

We like her egg, we went today and the worker refused to wear a mask while we make our ice. I asked him if he would wear one while he worked and he refused. have I canceled the order?

UPDATE: downgraded from 3 stars to 2 stars as the owner in comments here doesn’t even believe I visited the store. Well, I did, sir/mam, along with my baby and my wife who paid for the order! Instead of addressing the food quality the owner is looking to discredit the real customers posting the reviews. A pitiful position to be in…A waffle had too much of a rising agent. A milkshake and an ice cream felt like a lot of white refined sugar all of that not a healthy food. Talk about diabetes and obesity in America…The customers should be aware of unhealthy effects of white sugar, chemicals such as rising agents and understand their health risks if they are visiting this store.——-Tried various items, didn’t enjoy either
