Shuckin' Shack Oyster - Durham

The food is great and they have a take out option, but finding parking is a pain especially during their busy times. I would like to stress again, Parking is limited, so you might want to come at a less busy time or order ahead and just come pick up. To make an order, you might have to call multiple times for the phone to get answered. The food is great. I prefer coming here than other seafood places around. It has a laid back atmosphere.

The food was pretty good. I'm guessing they're suffering from the same staffing issues that a lot of restaurants are in that it's tough to find enough help. But even the help they had was seriously lacking. Some guy from the kitchen kept coming out and trying to make things better... Which helped but didn't really make up for the fact that our waitress was pretty absent. So, good food but not a good experience.

One person worked the whole restaurant and bar and rocked it! I?m so sorry I don?t remember her name but she was awesome, enjoyed dinner and love that they have my favorite beer, Red Oak on tap!

Food and service were extremely good! The fish and chips was cooked perfectly. Flake cod, good batter, not to heavy! Plenty of fries! Crab bites were good, except for the shell pieces left in the crab mix, but the bright side, I know they aren't frozen! ???? Everything was really good! Will be back!
