Pompieri Pizza. - Durham

My family and I weren't able to visit in their final week but this place was amazing. I was around 10 or something when we first ate here and I immediately fell in love with it. I loved everything about it, the food, the mason jars for drinks, the scissors to cut your pizza, the atmosphere. It was unlike any other pizza place I'd been to. My favorite memory was when I visited here back in March for my 18th birthday lunch. I was wearing a My Chemical Romance shirt, and lo and behold while my family and I were eating they played I'm Not Okay (I Promise) by MCR. I never asked if one of the employees saw my shirt or if it was just a coincidence but either way it was awesome. I cried when my dad told me Pompieri Pizza was closing but I understand why they are. I'll miss this place so much and I'll always cherish the memories I have going here. Take care everyone <3

Pour one out for the best pizza joint in Durham. So long and thanks for all the cheddar bunnies. You guys are going to be missed!

We went for a date night before a show at the Carolina Theater and we will definitely return! The pizza was amazing! We loved that all the beers are local.

We always walk away satisfied! The ingredients are delightful and the staff is friendly.
