Gocciolina - Durham

Fantastic. wonderful menu, sat at the bar, justin was my server. excellent eating, beautiful ambiente, good service. I was a solo dinner, no problems, felt welcome and easy to make reservations.

The best Dining experience!!! Went there last night for my husband's birthday. We were messy. Kept calling and changing our reservation. But each time the person answering the phone was very kind and understanding. She kept offering us solutions. Anyhoo, our original reservation was for 6:30. We finally made it there at 7:30. We were greeted very warmly and the food was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was very nice and personable and the food came out timely and I have never had sea bass or bread sticks that taste that good!! I love everything about this place.

Wonderful find. Super food, sat at bar, Sam the bartender easy to fall in love with. But see the same vibe in entire staff. Don't live nearby but will make it a regular spot when I'm in town.

This is legitimately my favorite restaurant in Durham. Their ndjuda (spreadable pepperoni) is like a dream. Honestly, I’ve never had anything there that I didn’t absolutely LOVE! Highly recommend!

I typically don’t have a lot of time to read restaurant reviews since I’m often busy writing my own, but I couldn't help but notice that Gocciolina was named the N&O Restaurant of the Year for 2014. Due to its location, visiting the restaurant has been a challenge for me, though I’ve had the chance to taste their dishes at various local food events. Fortunately, I finally found a reason to check out this charming Italian ristorante, and it was absolutely worth the trip!
