Beyú Caffè - Durham

While in town for a wedding, we stumbled upon this delightful restaurant. The young women who assisted us, both the hostess and our server, were courteous, kind, and very efficient. Our meals were outstanding. The Garden omelette was fresh and tasty, and my husband described the peppered bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich as “off the charts.” I also treated myself to a Mexican latte, which was a lovely surprise. Don't expect a fast food atmosphere here; we had the chance to sit back, relax, and savor our morning.

This was my first visit, and I will definitely return. One of the standout dishes is the chicken and toast, which I highly recommend; the sweet and spicy sauce is simply delicious. The French toast isn't overly sweet either, which is a nice touch. The salmon lox omelette was a bit different from what I anticipated, especially regarding the lox, but it was still very filling. The home fries that came with it complemented the meal perfectly. The service was excellent as well. Our waitress, Kya, was extremely friendly and offered some great recommendations!

Additionally, we received outstanding service from Jamia, who treated us with such care and grace; she made every customer feel valued with her warm demeanor. I highly recommend the garden vegetable omelet—it was delicious! The coffee was so good that I didn't miss the varieties from Miami at all. We visited the cafe on Sunday afternoon and the place was very busy but nonetheless the staff was kind, patient and helpful with placing our to go order. The pineapple smoothie was soooo good plus we ordered several baked treats that were fresh and tasty. We loved the vibe at the counter and the different seating areas. Our plans are to visit again and possibly purchase some ground coffee, especially loved the names of each blend. ?

A special mention goes to Jamia, who served us with such genuine warmth, elegance, and attentiveness. She made sure every customer received the care they deserved. I highly recommend the garden omelet with vegetables, which was absolutely delicious, along with the coffee that rivals the best varieties from Miami.
