Bean Traders Gourmet Coffee - Durham

Bean Traders is a community coffee shop in South Durham. They have a variety of coffee drinks, scones, muffins, bagels, waffles, quiche, pies and MORE! I had a blueberry pancake muffin, yogurt bowl and iced vanilla latte while I worked there. Everything was fresh and delicious. It is a great place to work, meet with friend or colleague. It has casual indoor/outdoor seating. It is a VERY spacious cafe with many seating options. I highly recommend checking out Bean Traders and getting a bakery item and coffee drink!

The drink selections and bakery items are fantastic! David and Christi are the sweetest! I drive 30 minutes to meet friends for coffee, it's that good! It's worth the drive for GREAT coffee and impeccable service!

A delightful and welcoming coffee shop! There's ample space for both working and relaxing. They have a fantastic selection of coffee and delicious baked goods!

Cute cafe with ample seating area. I had the chocolate habanero coffee which was good but more like a hot chocolate as it didn't give me a kick. I also had a buttered beignet muffin which was yummy. Would love to try their lattes the next time.

I love that this place is a local tradition, but.... they are slow as all get out. There is no such thing as grabbing a quick cup of coffee. Well, maybe self-serve drip. They could at least invest in a loudspeaker to call out names, but instead everyone just stands around. I waited here for at&t to come fix my internet, so I sat down and kept checking the pickup counter. I was fully prepared to keep ordering items while there, but what a pain. I couldn't stay long anyway due to none of the 120v outlets working for my laptop. The integral USB outlets worked, so that took effort. They do seem to have a steady stream of business, so I guess they can afford to be unwelcoming.
