Contribuiți la feedbackWe decided to visit BREW after reading the reviews, and I must say, it really lives up to the hype. The beer is fantastic, and the food was excellent—I had the roasted beet salad with grilled chicken. The service was exceptional as well. If you're in Durango, make sure to stop by; you won't be disappointed!
I visited this restaurant during a work trip with a few colleagues. Our waitress was the only staff member working on the floor, but fortunately, the place wasn't too busy. We ordered some drinks and food, and despite having just one waitress, the service was quite prompt. I had a glass of the house wine, which was nothing special. As for the food, it was okay. We tried the wings and fried pickles. Before we ordered the wings, the waitress warned us that the hot-flavored wings were extremely spicy. Coming from a Jamaican family, we love our spices, so I decided to go for the hot wings. Unfortunately, I found them to be not spicy at all. They were tasty, but I missed the fiery flavor she had described. On the bright side, I definitely recommend the fried pickles!
**Service:** The service was incredibly friendly. Nicole quickly became a close friend to us and was a key reason for our return to the restaurant. She remembered our faces and names after our first visit, and chatting with her felt more like conversing with a friend rather than a server. We had different staff on other nights, but every single one was equally friendly and pleasant. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. **Food & Drink:** Both the food and drinks were excellent. Their beer was the best among the 3-4 breweries we visited during our trip — well-balanced and reasonably priced. The food we tried, including salads, sandwiches, fried chicken, and more, was all delicious. **Ambiance:** The atmosphere was really enjoyable. With the Olympics airing, and as skiers among many of the other patrons, it was fun to watch the events unfold. There were also gatherings of people on several nights, adding to the lively vibe of the place.
Have been here twice and loved it both times. Service is friendly and attentive and food comes out fast. Hits with us: The roasted cauliflower (our vegetarian friend said it's amazing) Roasted beet salad: beets weren't roasted all the way through, but that wasn't a big deal. I love beets and this salad hit the spot. My husband is a brat fan and loves the brats here. Fried pickles: crispy on the outside! Great local beer selection. The open air seating is delightful. We come through Durango often, and this is now a favorite!
Nice bar seating, and they have some good tables. Plenty of space the restaurant is not cramped. No loud music. Both hoppy ales I tried were decent, not great. 'Samuel ', the American pale ale, is a little weak with not enough hoppiness to overcome a lack of body. 'Trevor ', the IPA, is a bit better. On beer alone, this would be a 3 star review. Ravioli special quite good. Black beans are not something I would associate with pasta but it works. Pickled jalapeños not so much. Side salad is an assortment of nice greens, tomatoes, red onion and cucumber. Other than the plate being a touch too small very good. Tasty blue cheese dressing. Shishito grilled mild chile peppers are great and well suited even for people who don 't prefer chiles. These are truly mild. Because I ordered too much food, I shared these with my neighbor at the table. Service was fine, friendly. Bartender was perhaps a bit overworked having to serve the tables as well as the bar.
