Simpsons - Dundee

The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, although the music felt a bit out of place. The food was of good quality and had a decent portion size, but the sides were rather small for their price. The coffee was delicious, and the cakes were fresh and well-prepared. They also offered a great variety of options for vegans and vegetarians.

I wanted to rate this place with 3 stars, but I believe that with some proper coffee training, it has the potential to really excel. If they offer a "drilled" Halloumi sandwich, please don’t serve it roasted, as I found the flavor of the roasted Halloumi to be less appealing. My salad also arrived without dressing. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and the music was wonderful.

I had the avocado toast, which was really good, and the soup of the day, made with tomatoes and vegetables—both were delicious. The staff is lovely, and next time I'll definitely try the cakes, which look amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming; overall, it feels great to be here and enjoy a meal.

Beautiful brunch at the newly renovated simpson (formerly tee and cake). the choices of Scottish tasty on the menu we had, we have skill, dundee stack and the eier royale, the best to eat that we had on our trip to Scotland! cannot think of a better way to spend a rainy morning in dundee.

A nice little cafe with a great selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolates. They have a menu that offers up a good portion of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well as cakes. Worth a swing in to have a nice cuppa :
