Dark Horse Pizzas - Dundalk

I recently went for lunch here and I was pleasantly surprised. The outdoor setting is gorgeous and very Covid friendly. I observed staff cleaning and sanistising tables as soon as a customer left so that was very reassuring. I only copped after we ordered that this was a vegan establishment however the food was gorgeous. The only thing I can comment on was the wait for the bill as you’ve to wait for a staff member to write you a docket, bring it to the shop and wait in the queue to pay with other customers who are purchasing from the shop. This process takes some time and can be a bit frustrating. Other than that I would return.

The food was excellent as always. We had pizza and they were both so tasty. The homemade kombucha was so nice.So much effort goes into everything they do. Warm,friendly service as always. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys good food. It's a really special place.

I don’t think I can do DH justice to be honest. I have gotten so many dishes from here and have yet to be disappointed. I would consider myself quite a picky eater, and sometimes I have ordered food that I haven’t been sure of but when I have received the food I have been pleasantly surprised! I like pizza, like most, but I think I have it been especially won over by their sandwiches. The slaw ones are particularly amazing. The wedges and garlic dip are out of this world. My non vegan friends all agree. At Christmas I order their vegan roast and it’s amazing too. Staff are lovely and (even though I mainly order take out), the place itself is so cool with a chill out vibe. They really out did themselves and adapted through Covid.

I'm not a vegan I would prefer the pizza food here to any other place in town. The Mac cheese is also delicious. Nice outdoor seating too with a lovely bar out the back

Absolutely love this place, food is freshly grown and is so tasty, I would definitely recommend the wedges and chestnut mushroom breakfast dish
