Kingfisher - Dundalk

We went in quite late but the lass said no problems what would you like, we couldn’t have irish stew so settled for bangers and mash and burger chips all cooked fresh, a good ale to boot was had.

We both ordered the chicken goujons. One with chips and one with mash. Food was very tasty well cooked. Mash was very nice. However. The order with the chips was huge. Plate was full with chips and chicken. The mash dinner however was ridiculous it arrived with 3 very small scoops of mash. The portion sizes of the two parts were very different even though the prices are the same. The scoops should have been bigger or more of them. To be inline with the chips version.

The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed the traditional Fish and Chips.

A hidden gem! This restaurant is a lively spot just a few minutes walk from the Ilac centre. Our waitress Camila was very attentive and a lovely person. Food was delicious and reasonable priced.
