The Market Inn - Dumfries Galloway

Passing through Castle Douglas and wanted a bite to eat drink at that time of the afternoon when most cafes are closing and most restaurants/pubs haven’t started serving food the staff at The Market Inn couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Great scones with butter and jam, hot chocolate brownie with cream.good coffee. Perfect!. Dog Friendly. Just the sort of place you want to stop in at, where they make you feel welcome. Fourth visit at this lovely hotel; rooms clean and warm, staff friendly and helpful. Great choice for breakfast, we had a meal with friends all meals lovely, well presented. Good quality and quantity. Emma is a lovely, friendly person nothing too much trouble, will certainly be staying again.
