Congratulations to everyone who delivered food, drinks and took our order. So attentive and friendly. An absolutely top drawer experience. This is Michelin level without a doubt.

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food we found during our visit to Dumfries. We initially wanted something more basic, but our first choice was closed due to the holiday season. The cocktails were unique creations by the bartender, so don't be afraid to try something different. While it may not be a budget-friendly option, the quality of the food makes it worth it. Even though the portions seemed small, the two-course meal was filling. We were impressed by the canapés, amuse bouche, and petit fours that were included. Despite not having space for dessert, our meal for two with wine, whisky, and coffee came to a total of £169. Overall, we enjoyed everything we tried, although the chips were not exactly what we expected.

Excellent food and dining experience. The front of house team, led by Giuseppe, is truly caring and attentive. Giuseppe’s passion for Robert Burns’ history in the location, and passion for the mission to achieve excellence in dining, is shining and infectiously exciting. The kitchen’s team attention to details and research in all elements of each dish, makes for a truly delicious dining experience. And beyond this, the entire location is simply an incredible place rich of history, art and culture, to immerse yourself in and enjoy deeply. Certainly a must visit place if you want to immerse yourself in both an excellent dining experience and enjoy a unique part of Robert Burns’ history.

What a treasure hidden away in Dumfries. A warm welcome started our lunch off perfectly. The service was great and the food sublime. We had the tasting menu and were all blown away by the presentation as well as the flavours. The general manager showed us around the historic rooms ending a very memorable trip. Would highly recommend.
