Undercooked tasteless food. Update: well, chicken should be always well cooked, 75% cooked chicken might cause salmonella.

Ordered a massive meal for my birthday, was super glad to see specifically vegan items on their menu. Costumer service was impeccable from both phone attendant and driver, food was delicious and on time, generous portions too! and they very kindly added complimentary beers. Thank you! Will be ordering again!

I now use Banaras Indian and Thai takeaway as a main preference of choice if I am ordering an Indian or Thai takeaway. This Indian takeaway is located on the south side of Dublin on the Bray Road. Its location isn't exactly ideal as it in a small area but this does suffice as its a takeaway. The food itself is incredibly nice and very well cooked overall for any of the meals I've ever gotten from here. They are also very accommodating to any changes that you want in your order or preferences to your order. They also offer a delivery and is prompt when not extremely busy. They also freely include a bottle (or 2) of cobra Beer with your order depending on the size of the order. This is an extremely nice touch to the takeaway and completes the meal experience for anyone who would like a nice beer with their takeaway meal. Would highly recommend this takeaway to anyone looking for a nice Indian or Thai restaurant in the south Dublin area.

This has become our new go to takeaway since moving to the area and never disappointed until this evening. Not sure if they’ve maybe had a chef change or what but everyone that ordered tonight agreed the food wasn’t at the same standard and unfortunately one meal was found to have a 3 inch long hair in it when we opened the container. Gave it a decent rating still as usually the food is really good and the guys in there are really nice so I’m hoping this was a once off but a little disappointed. *Edit All was made right and well handled by the owner so changing this to a 5 star. Also, have introduced Banaras to my parents and other family and it's there go to takeaway every week now.

We ordered 2 different curries and starters. Both the gravy taste the same and too much sour. It wasn't as good as expected. No thought and care into the curries. Disappointed.
