Big Daddy's Soul Food - Dover

Awesome place and tons of variety so I can't wait to try more. A+ Delicious Items: Cabbage-Seasoned, Coleslaw-Sweet, Greens-good like Glory greens, Spicy Peach Wings-Just need 1 or 2 because they are larger wings and cooked to perfection-finger licking good, and Louisiana coconut pound cake is on point! A- Sweet potatoe pie, lemon cake, banana pudding, Honey Bourbon Wings were like full sweet liquor sauce coated wings and they stand out just like Spicy Peach Wings B-Sweet Potatoes- Brown sauce based and whole tender sweet potatoe chunks, hush puppies, and Bourbon Pound Cake (Taste like Liquor soaked through) C-Chocolate cake- I love moist cake with plenty of chocolate icing on top and covering the cake but it was pound cake chunk with thin chocolate icing drizzle-nahhhh I would add photos but everyone was too busy eating and this popped up on my phone the day after. I will get pics the next time. We will be going back because there is too much to try!

Yes I got the Oxtails, Cabbage, and Potato Salad. When I opened my platter and seen that hefty amount of oxtails...ohhhh ma lawdddd! That gravy is something special Im sorry I did not take the picture before I dug in!!!

Very professional and nice place of business. My husband and I ordered ox tails and fish shrimp. Food was awesome. If you haven't tried them please do. You won't be disappointed

I have had several things from their menu. Great food and good service. There are only a few people working there, but they are always polite and friendly. I was a little disappointed when I ordered through Grubhub rather than directly, but they made most of the order right, even staying after closing to do it. Still thought $11 for two pieces of fried chicken and lots of fries was a little steep.

I didn't realize I was walking in AT closing time until I was leaving with my food. They greeted me warmly, made menu recommendations, I even got a free piece of cornbread :D Food was ready quickly, ample portion. Ordered the seafood platter : catfish, giant shrimp , the crabcake was really good- grilled lump crab , no filler. Sides cabbage was also really good. I've had better baked mac n cheese cornbread but overall everything was great , as was the service. Will be going back ! (FYI , they have Beef Ribs, I did not see any pork on menu)
