What a great pub. Genuine local bitters on hand, excellent individually cooked food and friendly staff. Much space makes us safe. Very friendly and efficient staff. Bonus was Live Band.

Pub is nicely decorated in a lovely location, opposite the quay. Service was really friendly and I was only popping in for a pint initially but as a lone female, I felt very comfortable here so decided to stay for food too. Pie, mash, seasonal veg and gravy were delicious. Couldn't fault it. Would recommend a visit here.

We visited on a Sunday, when the kitchen closes early, so we had to come back the following day to enjoy the steak and Guinness pie. We were not disappointed. There were different staff on both days, but they were all excellent, friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Great place to watch for a few beers and sports. Beautiful beer garden and comfortable chairs inside. Bar staff super friendly and helpful
