Applebee's - Dothan

The service at the bar for my cocktail was incredibly slow; it seemed my order might have even been overlooked. I had to enlist the help of the hostess to follow up on it. There was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant, which likely contributed to the delays. As for the food, it was disappointing at best, with most items served barely warm. My side of mac and cheese was actually cold, and the cheese wasn't melted properly. Overall, I ended up eating very little and took the rest home. I wouldn't choose to eat here again if I'm in Montgomery. On a positive note, my waitress was polite and handled the situation efficiently given the circumstances.

I can't even begin to express how terrible my experience was last night at this restaurant. When we requested David as our server, we were informed that he wasn’t available and that we would have to take a different server. We visit this place almost every weekend and always have David as our server, or we sit at the same table if the bar is busy. Andrea was incredibly rude and clearly lacks any customer service skills. Perhaps she could benefit from some additional training.

I just left Applebee's and was disappointed with my experience. When we arrived, the host informed us that it would be a 25-minute wait for a table, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Shortly after, three people walked in, who I later learned worked at Piggly Wiggly. The host told them the same wait time, but then promptly seated them ahead of my son and me at a table in the bar area. This felt like poor customer service to me; it’s frustrating to be told there’s a wait only to see others seated before you. I understand that many restaurants are facing staffing challenges, but that doesn’t justify inconsistency in service.

The service was very slow, and I wouldn't recommend spending money on the steaks, as they weren't cooked properly. I ordered mine medium, but it came out well done. My family did enjoy the wonton appetizers, though, and the wraps were decent as well.

The service was terrible, and my medium steak came out well done. We waited 55 minutes, and there were no breadsticks for my wife's pasta. I was extremely dissatisfied, and when I showed the waiter the steak, all he said was, "Sorry."
