The technique worked well. The service was very attentive and regularly asked for further drinks. Shakshuka (12€ and Gratinized Sheep Cheese with grapes, blueberries, caramelized walnuts and salad (14.5€) were consumed and both looked visually appealing and tasted good. My wish would be a second meat dish on the weekly changing, rather small card (as we were there, there was only a chicken dish for about 24€.
There is always a current daily menu and therefore a lot of variety in the dishes. Everything is freshly prepared. Often extraordinary creations that always make desire for more.
Actually, the Sissikingkong is more famous for concerts and disco. However, the selected and high-quality dishes are also highly recommended. From standard dishes such as pasta or risotto to goose bumps and clubs, a changing selection of spears is served.
My favourite bar in Dortmund! First something delicious to eat in the restaurant and then on a gin tonic to the counter. Sometimes the cellar has up and you can dance to the best music. The style of the Sissikingkong is unique in Dortmund. Super crowd!
Also or just because the card hardly changes, always excellent! The almond dip is a must, the good coffee afterwards.
