They were flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients. If this restaurant was closer to us, we would be regular customers. However, we were disappointed with the pizzas. The kids' pizzas were not up to par and they used a bright red tandoori sauce instead of a traditional tomato sauce, which the kids did not like. Most of the pizza ended up in the trash. Stick to the curries!
Yummy food, value for money and amazing staff.. thank you for the delicious food. Set menu are best one for families.
My friends and I frequently order takeout from this restaurant after a night of drinking. The food is decent quality but tastes fantastic when you're drunk. We usually go for the pizza, which tends to be quite greasy with cheap-tasting cheese. The chips taste like they were microwaved and the curry sauce is watery and oily. The standout item from the Indian selection is the peshwari naan bread - the best I've had from any Indian restaurant. I also tried their garlic naan, which was simply a regular naan with a large chunk of minced garlic in the center. I haven't sampled anything else on the menu aside from pizza, chips, poppadoms, and naan, so I can't comment on the overall quality of the food. However, I've heard that their dishes are heavy on the oil, so I would only recommend dining here if you're out for a night of drinking. Just a heads up, you may experience some digestive issues the morning after eating here.
Superb takeaway. Vast menu and some really different curries the ones we ordered were very tasty. Lovely pickles to go with the poppadoms. Massive naan bread, though a touch too much coconut in the peshwari. Really impressed with the curries which better our superb, prize winning local
We had a set meal as a treat with an extra prawn puri. This was the worst puri I've ever had, such a lack of flavour and the prawns were over cooked. The pakora were quite good so made up for it a little. We were looking forward to the curry's but on opening the tubs we were greeted with a pool of oil, we skimmed the oil off both curries which a 3rd filled an empty tub but even so the remaining curry on rice (good rice) was extremely greasy and both tasted very alike (1 chasni 1 jaipur) but nothing like they should or had previously. Bombay potatoes were not great but better than the curries. Most was left as they were so oily as to make them inedible. So sad a previously good curry house produced this rubbish.
