Flynnie's Diner - Dixon

Coffee was undrinkable!!Food was sub par, not so good.

This restaurant underwent a name change a couple of months ago and is now called Mary's. We decided to stop by based on the positive reviews, and I'm glad we did! The breakfast was delicious and the portions were enormous. I really wish I had taken a picture of our meal. I highly recommend this place—fantastic service!

"I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. My waitress was very kind and attentive. However, I found the fried steak didn’t taste quite right, and the pancakes were too hard for my liking. I won’t be ordering those again. Additionally, the soup of the day was excessively salty. Next time, I think I'll stick to something else."

I visited this restaurant for the first time and will certainly come back. There was no wait for seating, which was a great start. The service was outstanding—our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He recommended the biscuits and gravy stacker and the omelet (I had the omelet while my wife opted for the stacker), and we were not let down by either choice. A small detail: the coffee was fantastic too. The atmosphere was charming, with plenty to admire on the walls. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to trying other dishes, like the pork tenderloin sandwich, next time!

Great family restaurant with cozy decor. Excellent food and friendly staff. I would definitely go back again.
