Arthur's Garden Deli - Dixon

Arthur's is the Platonic form of a Deli shop. Great service, a varied and simple menu and an adjacent atmosphere combine to create an excellent culinary experience. When I see the Pickle Man sitting on the shield Arthurs in the parking lot, I understand why his grin is so big, because I smile.

Quality sandwiches, good service. You also have a nice selection of frozen yogurts and desserts. I met the owner (Scott) at this point, he seemed really nice.

This place is just money, always busy. The people who work here always take care of you and their food is always consistent. The only thing I could recommend. Extend the passage to fit more cars, so we don't sit in Galena waiting.

We both had a potato bowl and both thought the quality of the food was excellent. Nice place and good for a quick bite.

Great atmosphere, and served cafeteria style. Good menu variety, with mostly baked potatoes and toppings, sandwiches, and pasta salads/soup. Food tasted great, and one serving was filling, though I did try several different things. Clean, quiet with nice background music, and reasonably priced in the $5-$10 range.
