Of course, the foie gras was good and the frog excellent but the Crêpes sucet were a major disappointment compared to what they were last time: probably precooked,...dry hard, and the sauce had not enough butter; and the crozes hermitage was nothing like the ones we had before it was so young, so hard it was hardly drinkable. the waitress was very pleasant, but did not advise us how she would have. we will not visit a third time and no longer recommend this restaurant.
Not the best service, the quality of eating was okay. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I was here with friends and we had a great time. Everyone loved their meal. I began with egg meurette and the followed this with an aged Charolais beef entrecote. My side was a mini casoulet of mushrooms. Everything was outstanding. The young chef does...an excellent job. For dessert, I had a very robust chees plate and my friends had baba rum. Dessert is tableside dining which I like. The restaurant is newly decorated and very nice. My only suggestion is that the maitre d'hôtel needs to strengthen the wine list. With such wonderful beef, the list needs to bee deeper.
Chic, romantic and elegant place. Meat was excellent, the dishes were fine. The snails were great, just like the wine. very rich choice of desserts and cheeses. I asked for a dish that wasn't on the menu and they made me prepare, exceptionally. so extreme kindness, availability and courtesy of staff. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
I highly recommend this restaurant, I ate a fake net that wasn't so fake. I've eaten an excellent goyave sorbet for dessert. Only flat, the entrance gironde snails were served relatively warm.
