Elks Lodge - Dickinson

I genuinely wanted to enjoy my experience at the Elks Lodge, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. It has a charming, old-school vibe that feels like a place my great-grandfather might have been a member of. The salad bar was acceptable, but overall, it didn’t meet my expectations.

My biggest issue was the long wait for our food. We arrived at 7:45, but we didn't receive our meals until 9:20. It turned into a lengthy evening just waiting for our food.

The food here is quite pricey and unfortunately, it was far from enjoyable. We ordered the porterhouse special, and it resembled a TV dinner in both taste and appearance. The decor is...

The experience was decent overall. We waited 45 minutes for a Reuben sandwich. When we inquired about Bleu cheese dressing, the server unceremoniously dropped it at the salad bar without saying a word and then walked away. The steaks were enjoyable but quite greasy, which seems odd considering they were grilled. On the bright side, they did take the Reuben off our bill, so there's that.

Absolutely disappointed. Waited forever for food. Food was luke warm at best and ridiculously over priced. Paid $76 for 2 drinks and microwaved, frozen food. Got so many recommendations to try this place and will not be back!!!!
