Trellis - Des Moines

Same great atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Food quality a fraction of what it used to be. Used to have the best steak salad in all of Des Moines but sadly there isn’t anything remotely similar on the menu anymore. You could legitimately not pick a wrong meal on this menu a year back and it was the reason we became members. Now we will come for the flowers.

Lunch at Trellis today was out of this world.The burger special of the day had bacon along with garlic aioli and a jelly that had such an incredible flavor combination. They also came with side salads with pinole nuts and a delicious cheese. I couldn’t stop eating it.It’s so cool that you can go for lunch and get entry to the gardens free! Even cooler that the food is so incredible.

Love the ambience here! It’s perfect for quiet brunch spot and the patio is gorgeous. Love the seasonal menus. Just need a local coffee source and I’d come every weekend!

Food has changed, not for the best. Roast beef sandwich was like Budding meat slices, tiny portions.

Limited menu that changes monthly. Burger was good, handmade with a toasted bun and a nice side salad , but salty as heck! And took way too long for my to go dessert order. 1
