Tally's - Des Moines

Our previous experiences at Tally's were much better than our recent visit, unfortunately, it seems to have lost its charm. My husband and I really enjoyed the restaurant when it first opened; the chef was always friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the owner left a lot to be desired—his lack of social skills made us feel quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the back area appeared messy and neglected, and it was clear that the staff lacked knowledge about their wine selection. It's a shame because it’s conveniently located near our home. I would recommend going to Flying Mango instead for superior food, a much more personable owner, and a fantastic wine selection.

This restaurant had the potential to be decent, but the prices were too high and the food selection was lacking. I was definitely not impressed!
