Hops Pie - Denver

We had the vegan sloppy Joe and a Detroit style pizza. The portions are huge! I liked the sloppy Joe and the pizza was also delicious. As others mentioned, a cheese other than Daiya would make it better. We will definitely come back!

This restaurant has great reviews and I can't figure out why. Maybe reviews were after some good beers. The sloppy jokes where just okay, the pizza options were demal. With all the fantastic vegan / vegetarian restaurant options in Denver (like the one below the street from this restaurant), this would be my last choice. At least bring back the vegan Mac n Cheese. Of course, as the waitress said, “we don’t get many vegans here hahahaha!”

They have some good beer and will bring you samples. I had a yummy pizza with smoked tofu, tomatoes, and spinach! All with vegan cheese :
